We have been in the solar industry for over 16 years. Our owner / operator Benjamin Peak studied renewable energy and electro-technology at Swinburne University. He is an accredited member of the Clean Energy Council specialising in battery storage and solar power systems for ten years.

Easy Off-Grid is a locally owned business. Ben is a Hunter Valley local. He grew up in Gloucester, lived in Maitland, and now calls Newcastle home.

Real Priorities

Ben prioritises time with his two boys and being outdoors. He believes in reducing his environmental impact and stepping back from the usual rush. He focuses on maintaining a healthy work-life balance and living simply.

Practical Solutions

Ben prefers hands-on solutions. He builds his own electric bicycles to get around and constantly looks for ways to lower his carbon footprint at home. The family recently built four wicking beds to grow their own food. It is the most water-efficient way to garden in Australia. He is committed to finding practical ways to be self-sufficient.
